They carry out hundreds of projects annually across the country.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-2-color has-text-color\">THE CLIENT<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><p>The company has been using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.directimpactsolutions.com\/en\/FileMaker-Consulting-Services\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.directimpactsolutions.com\/en\/FileMaker-Consulting-Services\/\">FileMaker consulting <\/a>since 1996. Over the years, the solution evolved organically to meet both JCB\u2019s needs and those of its customers.<\/p>\n\n<p>In order to ensure the business growth and increase the productivity of its teams, the company wanted to develop new modules and make significant modifications to the system in order to computerize and centralize its operations on a single platform, accessible to everyone at all times.<\/p>\n\n<p>The management team weighed the pros and cons of migrating to other systems used in the construction industry versus the development of their FileMaker solution. The management team felt the migration was too risky from an operational perspective and that FileMaker offered more flexibility.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-2-color has-text-color\">THE PROJECT<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.directimpactsolutions.com\/en\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.directimpactsolutions.com\/en\/\">Direct Impact Solutions<\/a> team was hired to develop the following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.directimpactsolutions.com\/en\/claris-filemaker\/\">FileMaker tools<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>An iPad application for the management of real-time construction site activities;<\/li>\n\n<li>An inventory management module (tools and equipment) using barcodes;<\/li>\n\n<li>Billing management modules;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>The mobile application and its new modules now allow administrative staff as well as construction workers to access the centralized information on the platform and to manage:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Equipment inventory;<\/li>\n\n<li>Orders for materials and subcontractor services;<\/li>\n\n<li>On site workers and subcontractors\u2019 schedules;<\/li>\n\n<li>Project milestones checklist;<\/li>\n\n<li>Daily reports of construction site activities;<\/li>\n\n<li>Order and invoice validation;<\/li>\n\n<li>Invoice approval.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-2-color has-text-color\">THE BENEFITS<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><p>The company estimates productivity gains of approximately 10% per employee.
