Since the beginning, Direct Impact Solutions has been committed to playing an active role in the Laval educational community. This support has seen the day through a privileged relationship with Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency<\/a>, the most important educational institution in the region. It also happens to be an establishment that has seen many of our employees pass through over the years.\u00a0<\/p>

A Collaborative Tradition with the College Network <\/h3>

For several years, Direct Impact Solutions has regularly hired interns from the college network, offering them a concrete opportunity to apply their knowledge in a professional environment. This partnership with local educational institutions is much more than a simple recruitment process. This involves actively contributing to the training of the next generation of IT and administrative talents, by offering them practical and enriching experience within the company. <\/p>

Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency: A Shared History <\/h3>

Nearly half of the staff assigned to the Laval head office are former students of Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency. This link goes even further: the three partners of Direct Impact Solutions are themselves graduates of Montmorency, having studied administration or IT. This common path with Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency reinforces the commitment to supporting this establishment, which has played a key role in our professional development.  <\/p>

A Personal and Institutional Commitment<\/h3>

The company’s values \u200b\u200b\u2013 respect, collaboration and innovation \u2013 find a natural echo in its relationship with Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency. For Direct Impact management, it is essential to give back to the community that has given it so much. Supporting the educational mission of Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency is therefore obvious, both on a personal and institutional level. <\/p>

The CEO, Philippe Lazzaroni, embodies this long-standing commitment. After having been president of the alumni office and alumni representative to the Coll\u00e8ge\u2019s Foundation for about ten years, Philippe continues to serve the institution by sitting on the board of directors of Coll\u00e8ge Montmorency, as well as within of its executive committee. Since 2022, Philippe has actively participated in various subcommittees, including the recruitment committee which recently led to the appointment of the new general director, as well as the ethics and governance committee, which ensures the application of the best management practices within the organization.<\/p>

It is with honor that Philippe accepted, on November 5, to assume the role of president of the board of directors of the College<\/a>, succeeding Christiane Pichette whose mandate ended.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cIt is an honor for me to occupy this important position for the College. I have a long history with the College. Growing up in the neighborhood, I spent my childhood in the college courtyard. My mother spent her career there as a teacher. I did my college studies there and was active in the student association. I worked my summer jobs there throughout my studies, before getting involved in the Alumni Office and the Foundation. It really gives me pleasure to return today in a governance role where my professional experiences can be used to help the College achieve its mission.\u201d
