Tania Caron: Where Precision Meets Creativity

At Direct Impact Solutions, we are fortunate to work with passionate, dedicated, and inspiring people. Tania is a great example of that.

As an accountant on our team, Tania is known for her attention to detail and her ability to stay focused, even during the busiest periods. She manages the accounting for all companies within the group, including operations in the United States and France. Her day-to-day work requires her to navigate different financial realities and currencies. She especially enjoys more demanding periods, when the pace picks up and she can truly challenge herself.

Her career path, however, is far from conventional.

Before entering the accounting field, Tania was self-employed as a hairstylist. At the age of 31, while raising two young children, she made the decision to return to university. What started as a certificate program eventually became a full bachelor’s degree. Shortly afterward, she joined Direct Impact, drawn not only by the flexibility the company offered but also by its people-first culture.

Since joining the company, she has grown quickly and taken on significant responsibilities. Today, she is particularly proud of managing financial statements from start to finish and helping strengthen the company’s accounting structure, while also maintaining a healthy balance with her personal life.

Beyond her role, Tania is also a deeply creative person. She expresses this side of herself both at work, through improvements to tools and processes, and in her personal projects.

That creativity led her to launch Oh My Mug, a project she is developing alongside her daughter, Mégane, a high-level figure skater. The goal is both meaningful and practical: helping fund Mégane’s skating competitions by creating personalized products that leave people with lasting memories.

For Tania, this project is an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life, create and reconnect with her artistic side. It is also a way to share something meaningful with her daughter and pass along an entrepreneurial mindset.

She often points out that working at Direct Impact gave her the confidence to take that leap. The company’s culture, built on trust and human connection, has allowed her to grow and take on new challenges.

Today, what motivates her most is the balance between structure and freedom, allowing her to thrive both professionally and personally.

Looking ahead, she hopes to continue growing within the company, particularly by supporting and mentoring other team members, while continuing to develop Oh My Mug at her own pace.

Her advice to new team members is simple: trust yourself, take things one day at a time, and never hesitate to ask for help.
