For some time now, artificial intelligence has been part of everyday discussions among FileMaker developers. Not as a trend to comment on, but as a concrete set of questions: how to integrate AI into existing solutions, how to keep systems maintainable, and how to avoid fragile or opaque designs.
The AI+FM workshop was created to address these questions in the most direct way possible: by working on them in person, over a full day, with experienced developers.
The first session took place in Madrid, on February 12th, hosted at the Apple offices.
The workshop was organised by Bitwok, a Spanish Claris Platinum Partner, with assistance from various partners in the FileMaker ecosystem, such as Direct Impact Solutions, Claris, and other local Claris Partners. It was introduced to the community as an interactive experience designed for skilled developers. Its format reflects this intent: small groups, a full working day, and a strong focus on real implementation scenarios.
Today, this journey continues with two upcoming stops that DIS is supporting closely: Paris and Milan.

From Madrid to Paris and Milan
After Madrid, the workshop moves to Paris, where it will take place on March 13th at the Apple offices at Place d’Iéna.
Delivered entirely in French, the Paris session keeps the same in-person, full-day format. The objective is not to introduce AI as a concept, but to work concretely on how it can be designed, implemented, and maintained within FileMaker solutions. The limited number of participants and the choice of the local language are intentional. They create the conditions for deeper technical discussion and more meaningful exchanges.
A few weeks later, on March 27th, the workshop reaches Milan, hosted at Talent Garden Isola.
The Milan session follows the same structure and philosophy. It is designed as a working day for experienced developers who are already facing practical questions around AI integration and want to address them with clarity and method.
A tour built on intention, not scale
Madrid, Paris, and Milan are not isolated events. Together, they form a coherent path: the same workshop, the same level of intensity, adapted to different communities without losing depth.
This approach may result in a smaller audience, but it helps connect with the right people in a deeper and more meaningful way. And that is precisely why DIS chose to be involved.
