Alexandre Lamontagne has always been passionate about computers. Early on, he spent hours exploring the mysteries of computers, whether by playing video games or discovering new technologies. Despite his passion, he had never considered making it a career, mainly because he was unaware of the many opportunities in this field. In fact, he even began studying psychology, thinking his future laid elsewhere. However, his real interest in computing was revealed when he took a complementary JAVA course at CEGEP Montmorency. This discovery led him to completely reorient his career choice and enroll in management IT technology, thus opening the way to an exciting new professional adventure.
He particularly appreciates IT for its problem solving and solution optimization aspects. He enjoys taking on challenges by finding logical and effective solutions to meet various needs. This passion for efficiency and logic is what motivates him in his daily work.

When asked what has changed the most between when he was hired and today, Alexandre said that the Alexandre of today is much less reserved. He expresses his opinions more easily on the various issues of the company and its projects. This increased confidence is mainly due to the experience and knowledge he gained in the field of programming.
He also discovered that, despite his introverted and reserved nature in everyday life, he has an ease with everything related to leadership within a team. He didn’t think he would enjoy managing a team and managing projects directly with clients as much. If he hadn’t been given the opportunity to try out different roles, he probably would have stuck to being a developer without knowing what he was missing.
